Sheriff Adam King
Sheriff Adam King is married to Tammy King and they have a teenage daughter named SaiAnn Sheriff King is a veteran of the United States Army (Military Police) and a graduate of the the FBI National Academy (class 210) at Quantico, Virginia.
King earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington, summa cum laude, and he holds a Masters level Peace Officer Certification. Before becoming Sheriff of Johnson County, King retired from the city of Cleburne where he was assigned to the Stop the Offender Program (STOP) Special Crimes Unit as Unit Commander. Sheriff King has over 32 Years of law enforcement experience and has served as a SWAT Team member for most of those years. Sheriff King volunteers for CISD Team School, Christians Women’s Job Corps, Children’s Advocacy Center, Hill College, Cleburne Christian Business Club and several church ministries. The King family attends Bono Baptist Church.
Chief James Saulter (Patrol/Dispatch/Guinn Justice Center)
Chief Deputy James Saulter is married to Angie and they have three children, Brittney, Dustin, Weston and nine grandchildren.
Before becoming Chief Deputy, Saulter served with the Ellis County Sheriff’s Office for over 16 years and the Hillsboro Police Department for just over a year. Prior to Law Enforcement Chief Saulter was the Director of Operations for Westpark Healthcare in Fort Worth where he worked on business development including managing a multi million dollar budget.
Chief Saulter’s experience includes Patrol, Criminal Investigations, Domestic Drug Interdiction, Marine Patrol, SWAT and Narcotics Investigator to include undercover operations. Chief Saulter has been involved in and testified in numerous investigations ranging from Narcotics to Capital murder cases on the local, state and federal levels. Chief Saulter currently holds a Master Peace Officer License and an Instructor Proficiency Certificate issued by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
Chief Saulter volunteers for numerous organizations including the Children’s Advocacy Center of Johnson County. Chief Saulter and his wife attend The Heights Church in Cleburne.
Chief Mark Reinhardt (CID/Jail)
Chief Deputy Mark Reinhardt is married to Mary Lou and they have four children. Three sons and one daughter, Michael, James, Samuel, and Aubrey. Before joining law enforcement Chief Reinhardt served in the United States Army from 1975-1979. He started his career with Killeen Police Department in 1979. In 1982 Chief Reinhardt joined the Texas Department of Public safety. In 2002 Chief Reinhardt became a Texas Ranger. He retired in 2008. In 2016 Chief Reinhardt came out of retirement to join Sheriff Kings administration in 2016. Chief Reinhardt holds an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice, a Master Peace Officer Certification and is a TCOLE Certified Instructor. When he’s not working, he can be found hunting and fishing with friends and family.
Captain Danny Rogers (CID)
Captain Danny Rogers is married with two adult children and three grandchildren.
Captain Rogers has been in Law Enforcement for over 32 years and served for 30 years at the Cleburne Police Department where he retired as Assistant Chief.
While at Cleburne he worked undercover in the STOP Narcotics Unit, he was one of the original members of the Cleburne SWAT Team and later served as SWAT Team Commander. He commanded the Criminal Investigation Unit and the Patrol Division. He has extensive Criminal Investigation Experience and Training.
He has received numerous commendations and awards throughout his career which included the first Distinguished Command Award at the Cleburne Police Department.
Captain Rogers has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and holds a Master’s Peace Officer Certificate.
Captain Rogers has worked on or assisted in numerous cold case investigations and is a member of The Texas Sheriff’s Association Cold Case Review Team.
Captain David Blankenship (Jail)
Captain David Blankenship is married to Lisa and they have four children and six grandchildren. Captain Blankenship served in Iraq from 2006 to 2008 embedded with the US Military to train the Iraq Police with the majority of his tour in Mosul Iraq and other areas of the Nineveh Province.
Captain Blankenship earned his Bachelor’s Degree (BAS) in Criminal Justice and Business Administration from Dallas Baptist University and is a member of the National Honor Society. Blankenship has successfully completed the FBI’s LEEDA Leadership Trilogy training, and holds a Masters Peace Officer Certification.
Captain Blankenship began his career in Law Enforcement with the Granbury Police Department in 1987. Blankenship was assigned to the Stop the Offender Program (STOP) Special Crimes Unit from 1990 to 1995. Additionally Captain Blankenship worked as a Special Agent with the BNSF Railroad.
Captain Blankenship has served as worship leader for his church, served on church boards, as well as volunteered in other church ministries.
Captain Ben Arriola (Patrol)
Captain Ben Arriola is Married and has two adult sons. Captain Arriola started his law enforcement carrier in 1994 with the Johnson County Sheriffs office, working in the jail and later patrol. Captain Arriola has served as the FTO (field training) coordinator and is a TCOLE certified instructor. He attended the Law Enforcement Administration School of Police Supervision and holds a Master Peace Officer License.
